Q: Is your Responsible Tobacco Sales accepted by every State?

Most New England states require, or suggest, a formal training program to prevent the sale of tobacco to minors. We intend to work with each state to obtain their feedback for specific material to their regulations or laws.

Q: Do I have to attend a scheduled class in person?

No. Our program enables you and your employees to complete our certification program any time of day, from any location. All you need is a computer with internet access.

Q: Does my training certificate expire?

Please check with your state of town to see if you need to recertify your employees. We suggest a minimum of training all your employees annually. New employees should receive training before they complete a transaction.

Q: What does the program cover?

The program will provide you with a detailed overview of current tobacco laws that restrict the sale of tobacco to minors; applicable laws regarding the sale of tobacco, how to comply with the law; how to avoid fines and available resources and information.
